State Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. partnered with Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar and Councilman Robert Holden to bring an electronics waste recycling event to Forest Park on Sunday, May 7. Over 100 residents came out to recycle their unwanted electronics with the Lower East Side Ecology Center. They collected televisions, computers, stereo equipment and more to be properly disposed of and out of our landfills. The elected officials would like to thank the Lower East Side Ecology Center and the staff for their help and continued partnership as well as the members of 104COP for being on hand to help direct the traffic and keep all participants safe.
