Senator Webb Honors Roberson Museum with the New York State Senate Empire Award

Binghamton, NY – Senator Lea Webb presented the New York State Senate's Empire Award to the Roberson Museum & Science Center. The Empire Award, is the highest honor bestowed by the State Senate on businesses and organizations that have made significant contributions to their communities.
Roberson Museum was founded in 1934 through the benevolent vision of Alonzo Roberson. The Roberson Mansion stands as a testament to his legacy and commitment to community enrichment. Initially established as per the wishes outlined in his will, the fruition of his dream unfolded with the opening of the Roberson Memorial Center to the public in 1954, following the passing of his widow, Margaret.
