Senator Hinchey to Open Columbia Satellite Office, Host Open House on October 7

HUDSON, NY – Senator Michelle Hinchey invites community members to the grand opening of her new Columbia County Satellite Office. The open house will be held on Monday, October 7, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 160 Fairview Ave, Hudson, NY 12534. This public event offers district residents the chance to visit with Senator Hinchey and her team and join in a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Senator Michelle Hinchey said, “We’re excited to open our new Satellite Office in Columbia County, making it easier for folks in Columbia and Greene counties to visit us in person. Our office is here as a resource for everyone, ready to provide answers and help our neighbors access the services they deserve. Our open house on October 7th is a great opportunity to get acquainted with our team, and we hope to see everyone there!”

The Columbia Satellite Office will officially open on Wednesday, October 9, with regular office hours every Wednesday by appointment from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The office is ADA-accessible, and free parking is available onsite.

In just three and a half years, 82 of Senator Hinchey’s bills have been signed into law, making her a leading advocate fighting for rural and Hudson Valley communities in the State Senate. Her top priorities include expanding healthcare access, improving cell service, upgrading aging infrastructure, creating affordable housing opportunities, addressing the climate crisis, and ensuring that everyone can afford to live in their communities.
