Senator Monica R. Martinez 2024 Legislative Accomplishment

Our office is proud to have advocated and successfully passed 41 legislative bills through the Senate and 20 bills through both chambers; making them eligible to be signed by Governor Hochul before the end of the year.

From the passage and signing of the Suffolk County Water Restoration Act to protecting labor rights and supporting our local heroes to protecting our youth from being targeted by vape products to expanding resources for fentanyl overdose prevention, we achieved milestone legislation that reflects the needs and voices of our community.

Thank you to our constituents, advocates, stakeholders and concerned community members for reaching out to our office expressing ideas, concerns and legislative priorities for our district and statewide. I truly cannot do this work without your dedication and contribution to making our communities better.
