Senator Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick Demands Update on Status of Loop Parkway Feasibility Study

Residents have been forced to contend with unpredictable and potentially life-threatening travel circumstances. The status of the $250,000 feasibility study - and all other matters relating to construction on the Loop Parkway - should be provided directly to residents of Lido Beach, Point Lookout, and other affected areas. Transparency is the mark of good government and can instill a sense of trust between agencies and our communities.

 

I am calling upon the NYSDOT to meaningfully engage the public and provide more information about the status of this study, as well as strengthening their efforts to keep our communities safe and well-connected.
