Senator Roxanne J. Persaud & Assemblymember Jaime Williams Host Annual Holiday Toy Distribution

Brooklyn, NY – On Sunday, December 15, 2024, Senator Roxanne J. Persaud and Assemblymember Jaime Williams hosted their annual Holiday Toy Distribution event, benefiting local families in Senate District 19. Over 300 families attended the event, which took place at Senator Persaud’s office in Brooklyn. The festive occasion featured a variety of seasonal offerings, including toys, hats, gloves, coats, and the opportunity for families to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

In addition to these holiday gifts, special celebrity guest Sergio Delavicci was on hand to offer warm greetings to attendees and lend his support to the event, volunteering his time to help bring joy to the community.

The event was a heartwarming success, as families in need were able to receive essential winter items and share in the spirit of the season. "This is what the holidays are all about – coming together as a community to support each other," said Senator Roxanne J. Persaud. "We’re proud to provide these gifts and experiences for local children, ensuring that no family feels left out during this special time of year."

Assemblymember Jaime Williams added, “It’s an honor to give back to our community in such a meaningful way. The turnout was incredible, and it’s truly moving to see how many families we were able to help this year.”

The event marked another successful chapter in the ongoing efforts of Senator Persaud and Assemblymember Williams to support the families of Senate District 19, ensuring they have the resources and assistance they need to thrive, especially during the holiday season.
