Brooklyn, NY – On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Senator Roxanne Persaud hosted the Power 19 Awards for New York State's 19th Senatorial District. This event honors nineteen exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions to the district through dedicated service, advocacy, academic excellence, and community empowerment.
These remarkable individuals have gone above and beyond for the greater good, often without seeking recognition. Their selfless commitment to uplifting their community exemplifies a deep dedication to something greater than themselves and also serves as an inspiration for others to engage and contribute positively to society.
