Senator Rolison Thanks Dr. Rosser for His Leadership in Poughkeepsie, Wishes Him Success in Rochester

Dr. Eric Jay Rosser, who has served as Superintendent of the Poughkeepsie City School District since 2019, has announced his resignation, effective June 30, 2025, to assume the role of superintendent for the Rochester City School District.
In response to this development, Senator Rob Rolison issued the following statement:
My friend, Dr. Rosser, has been a dedicated leader and advocate for the students and families of the Poughkeepsie City School District. With his commitment to strengthening educational opportunities and resources for students, including our partnership in creating the Children’s Cabinet, he’s leaving a lasting impact on our community.
While I am sad to see him go, I know he will continue to make a difference in Rochester. I wish him all the best in this next chapter and look forward to seeing his continued success.
