Natural and human rights (life, liberty, property, speech, socialization, personal beliefs) already apply to each individual New Yorker in keeping with mankind's intrinsic, neutral characteristics of race, color, creed and religion. Making "sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression" sacrosanct will result in the abrogation of the natural/human rights of others (in terms of speech and denial of parental rights). There is nothing here to benefit a civil society. There is only the danger of the overarching power of the state to use the force of law as a battering ram to enforce compliance.
