Real ID DMV Event Registration

Thank you for your interest in attending Senator Gianaris' pop-up event with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. Staff from the DMV will be available to assist you in obtaining a REAL ID, which will be required to enter government buildings starting in May 2025. 

Please fill out the following form to RSVP to an upcoming event. Priority will be given to residents of Senate District 12. Once you have submitted the form, we will follow up with you at the phone number or email you provide to confirm your attendance. 

Remember to bring documentation confirming your New York State residence and identity to your appointment - more information about the required documentation is available here.

The fees associated for DMV services are as follows:

  • $12.50 for REAL ID – If you already have a Non-Driver ID, Learner Permit, or Driver License and not up for renewal
  • $42.50 for Enhanced Driver License ($30 for Enhanced License + $12.50 photo fee) – If you already have a Non-Driver ID, Learner Permit, or Driver License and not up for renewal
  • $80.50 (+ applicable fees above) for license renewal – If you already have a Non-Driver ID, Learner Permit, or Driver License and are renewing this document

Gracias por su interés en asistir a nuestro evento con el Departamento de Vehículos Motorizados del Estado de Nueva York. Los empleados del DMV estarán disponibles para ayudarle en obtener el REAL ID, lo que será mandatorio para entrar en edificios del gobierno a partir de mayo de 2025.
