One of my greatest honors as a State Senator is recognizing the men and women who have served with distinction in the United States Armed Forces. Each year, I have the privilege of honoring heroes from across my district through my Veterans Hall of Fame program. Since being elected to the New York State Senate in 2017, I have had the opportunity to recognize hundreds of veterans from across the 54th Senate District.
Please consider honoring a veteran in your life by nominating them for my Veterans Hall of Fame program. All nominated veterans will be recognized in a special ceremony, joined by their family, nominator, and local dignitaries. One nominee will be selected for induction into the statewide New York State Senate Veterans Hall of Fame in 2025 during a ceremony at the State Capitol.
While anyone can nominate a veteran, the nominee must reside in the 54th Senate District: Ontario, Livingston, and Wayne Counties and the Monroe County towns of Mendon, Rush, Wheatland, Chili, and Riga.
As the daughter of a U.S. Air Force veteran and the mother-in-law of a West Point graduate who served as a U.S. Army Green Beret, I am eternally grateful for the commitment and sacrifice of our veterans and military families. Please join me in honoring our nation’s heroes.
