Senator Martins Takes Part in First Ever Indian Day Parade

Senator Jack M. Martins was honored to take part in Long Island's first ever Indian Day Parade on a recent Sunday in Hickville. The parade marked a celebration of India's independence as well as the Indian culture, which has enriched many communities here on Long Island and in the Seventh Senate District.
"It was an honor to be a part of this historic day. The Indian as well as many of the cultures that have strenghened our communities is about rememberance and pride," said Senator Martins.
