Senator Rachel May Hosts Senior Resource Fair

Resident talks to exhibitor at Senior Resource Fair in Syracuse

Senator Rachel May hosted a senior resource fair at the Syracuse Community Connections Gymnasium in Syracuse. It was a one-stop shop of helpful information for seniors. Around 20 organizations attended that offer services and support for older adults, including meals, mobility, mental health, legal, utility bills, veteran issues, and health and recreation.

The purpose was to provide a centralized event where older adults and their families could access various resources, services, and information tailored to their needs. The event acted as a platform for seniors to interact directly with these service providers, allowing them to ask questions, seek advice, and enroll in programs or services that enhance their well-being and quality of life.
