REGISTER FOR FREE NARCAN TRAINING
Senator Andrew Lanza and Assemblyman Michael Cusick are hosting free overdose training events to teach Staten Island residents to prevent heroin and opiate overdoses from becoming fatal by using intra-nasal Naloxone (Narcan) - a highly effective prescription antidote used to reverse the effects of opioid overdose.
The training, provided by Community Health Action of Staten Island, will teach attendees to recognize an opioid overdose and administer the life-saving drug Narcan. Rescue kits are provided to all participants upon completion of the course.
