FREE LEGAL SERVICES AVAILABLE AT SENATOR LANZA'S OFFICE
In the recent state budget Senator Lanza secured funding for a Mobile Legal Help Center which allows the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) to provide free civil legal services to New Yorkers in need. Private meeting rooms and technology inside the vehicle enable it to function as a full-service office. Lawyers onboard the Mobile Legal Help Center will be available to Staten Islanders on Tuesday, December 9th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lanza's district office, located at 3845 Richmond Ave. in Eltingville.
THEY WILL PROVIDE FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE ON ISSUES RELATED TO FAMILY LAW AND FORECLOSURE PREVENTION, INCLUDING:
Foreclosure Prevention:
Victims of Predatory Lending/Loan Flipping
Borrowers Burdened with Subprime /Non-traditional Loans
Homeowners Scammed by Loan Rescue Operations/One-stop Shops
Family Law:
Contested & Uncontested Divorce
Custody/Visitation
Child/Spousal Support
Domestic Violence
Orders of Protection/Safety Planning
