Building on the work of our extensive public planning process, the Department of City Planning has compiled a set of draft recommendations for the Comprehensive Waterfront Plan. This draft includes broad citywide policy and programmatic recommendations as well as detailed, site-specific recommendations. Together, these recommendations are proposed to advance the goals of plan, address the pressing issues on the waterfront, and provide a realistic and pragmatic framework for the next 10 years.
The draft version of the plan’s recommendations are available for download here.
The Department will be holding a public meeting on October 12th. At this meeting the Department of City Planning will give a presentation, which will be followed by an opportunity for public comment.
