FREE MAMMOGRAPHY SCREENINGS

For Women 40 and Older Who Have Not Had a Mammogram in the Past Year

Senator Andrew Lanza and the Project Renewal Scan Van Program are well aware of the importance of educating women about the risk of breast cancer, and the importance of early screening and diagnosis. We know that women who receive early screening, diagnosis and treatment have an increased chance of survival. The Scan Van Program has
been bringing a mobile mammography van to Staten Islanders for many years. They provide free mammography and clinical breast exams on board a 40 foot van to the women in our community.
