Sneak Peak at Freshkills Park is presented by the Freshkills Park Alliance, the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, and the NYC Department of Sanitation, with support from Pratt Industries, The Home Depot, The Council on the Arts & Humanities for Staten Island, The College of Staten Island, Wagner College, Showplace Entertainment Center, the Hilton Garden Inn, M & R Hotel Group, The Lower East Side Ecology Center.

FREE SHUTTLE FROM STATEN ISLAND FERRY
Free shuttle buses will operate between the St. George Ferry Terminal and the event. Sunday Staten Island Ferries from Manhattan to the St. George Ferry Terminal depart every half hour on the half hour. Travel to St. George from Manhattan lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Free shuttle buses from the St. George Ferry Terminal to Freshkills Park will depart every half hour at :15 and :45 past the hour from 10:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.. Travel lasts approximately 45 minutes. Look for Sneak Peak signs inside the St. George Ferry Terminal to direct you to the shuttle bus. Please note that capacity is limited. Shuttle buses returning to St. George from Freshkills Park will depart every half hour between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Bikes will not be permitted on the shuttle buses. For biking directions to the event site from the St. George Ferry Terminal, please see below.
PUBLIC TRANSIT
From Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens & The Bronx:
Take the 1 or R trains to Whitehall Street/South Ferry, or the 4/5 train to Bowling Green. Then take the Staten Island Ferry to St. George, Staten Island.
Within Staten Island, or if you miss the free shuttle:
The S62 Bus will depart the St. George Ferry Terminal every half hour on the half hour. Travel lasts approximately 35 minutes. Take the bus to Victory Boulevard and Glen Street. Walk south on Beresford Avenue to Wild Avenue. Enter the site on foot or wait for the shuttle bus.
Return Trip
The S62 Bus from Victory Boulevard and Glen Street will depart for the St. George Ferry Terminal every half hour at :15 and :45 minutes past the hour.
DRIVING
Head west on I-278, the Staten Island Expressway. Take Exit 5 for the Southbound West Shore Expressway. Take Exit 7, Victory Boulevard. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp, onto Victory Boulevard. Proceed 0.25 miles and turn right into the parking lot of the Showplace Entertainment Center. Bear left to stay on Beresford Ave. Parking is available at 250 Wild Avenue.
BIKING
Enter at the corner of Wild Ave and West Shore Expressway East Service Rd. You may enter the site on bike.
Ride the City recommends a safe bike route from the St. George Ferry to the site. A more direct but potentially more difficult route would follow Victory Boulevard from Bay Street, near the Ferry Terminal, to Beresford Ave, through the entrance of the Showplace Entertainment Center and straight through to the event entrance.
