Free Breast Cancer Screening - Senator Anna M. Kaplan

We know that when it comes to cancer, early detection saves lives, so Senator Kaplan is proud to partner with Stony Brook Medicine to bring their advanced mammography van to our district to provide free breast cancer screenings!

Screenings are performed by NYS-registered radiologic technologists with advanced training in mammography. Clinical breast exams are performed by registered nurses who specialize in breast health, and the van has a comfortable waiting area, private dressing room, and complete exam room.

This is a free service for those with or without health insurance, but appointments are required.
