Senator Carlucci's Virtual Town Hall on Distance Learning

Senator David Carlucci (D-Rockland/Westchester) will host his 15th virtual town hall on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. on Facebook Live.
The series of town halls, part of Carlucci's efforts to inform residents on the COVID-19 response and to address issues related to it's impact on our health care system, economy, and schools.
For Wednesday's conversation, Carlucci will focus on distance learning and it's challenges.
He will be joined by Nanuet Union Free School District Superintendent, Dr. Kevin McCahill.
Dr. McCahill previously served as a Middle School and High School Math Teacher, High School Assistant Principal, Curriculum and Teaching Coach, Elementary Principal, Director of Teaching and Innovation and Assistant Superintendent of Schools.
Calucci and Dr. McCahill will be discussing the tremendous efforts teachers have undertaken to keep students learning on pace for the school year, the digital divide, the impact distance learning has on mental health, and ways parents can best support their children.
