SENATOR SAVINO HOLDS CENSUS DAY EVENT IN SUNSET PARK
TO HELP COUNT EVERY NEW YORKER
(Brooklyn) Thursday April 1st has been designated National Census Day to build awareness of how important it is to be counted in the 2010 Census.
Senator Diane Savino will be holding a Family Fun Day event to encourage New Yorkers return their census form.
Millions of dollars of federal and state aid for schools, health care and transportation ride on an accurate count of New York City residents.
