Senator Rivera Teaches Civic Classes

State Senator Gustavo Rivera (D, WF-Bronx) will join Community Board 8 Ethics Committee Chair Irving Ladimer for the second in a series of community civics classes at the Kingsbridge Library Wednesday, December 7th at 6:00PM. This class will focus on the Rights and Rewards of Citizenship. This course is FREE TO THE PUBLIC and we encourage Bronxites of all ages to attend.

WHEN: Wednesday, December 7th - 6:00PM-7:00PM
The three-class course will focus on learning about the Constitution and Bill of Rights, the rights and rewards of citizenship as well as voting and elections. Senator Rivera’s civics course started on November 30th and will continue every Wednesday until December 14th with a graduation ceremony to celebrate the completion of the course.
