New York State of Health (Part II) - Sign Up For Healthcare

Do you need health insurance? Join Senator James Sanders Jr. on December 6, 2016 for a New York State of Health event. Learn how to enroll in Medicaid and Medicare, or healthcare through the Affordable Care Act, aka “Obamacare.”

Open enrollment through the Affordable Care Act started on November 1, 2016 and will extend through December 15, 2016. You can sign up for the first time, re-enroll or change a 2017 insurance plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Coverage can start as soon as January 1, 2017.

Senator Sanders’ event will also feature information on tax credit eligibility and senior care. Representatives from the NY State Department of Health, Quality HealthCare, Healthfirst and Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield will be present.
