Rockaways Flood Meeting

Attention Rockaway residents - Are you concerned with persistent flooding and the rising cost of flood insurance, particularly after Hurricane Sandy? Attend our Flood Meeting where the Army Corps of Engineers will provide important updates on its Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) on the Rockaway Reformulation Plan.

We will also be providing information regarding flood insurance, rising premium costs, implementing money saving measures, and how to avoid becoming the victim of an insurance-related scam. 

Invited guest speakers include: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), NYS Department of Financial Services (DFS), NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), Legal Services NYC and Greaves Financial Services.
