SAVE THE DATE! In recognition of Earth Day next month, Sen. Griffo is again partnering with the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority to hold an electronics recycling event on Saturday, April 13.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Oneida-Herkimer Recycling Center at Leland Ave. Extension in Utica. You can drop off electronics such as TVs, computers and other electronics. For a full list of acceptable items, visit www.ohswa.org.
Confidata will be on hand to shred up to three boxes, per car, of confidential documents. Unused or unwanted prescription medications (no sharps or needles) also will be collected in cooperation with the Oneida County Sewer District and the state Department of Environmental Conservation as part of the sewer district’s Operation Ripple Effect initiative.
