'Joe Time' coffee chat
UTICA – State Sen. Joseph Griffo is again inviting the public to join him at the Marr-Logg House in East Utica this Wednesday, Nov. 22, for his latest “Joe Time” coffee shop conversation.
Throughout his career in public service, Sen. Griffo has been having coffee with constituents. This has proven to be an effective method to meet and chat with residents, who are invited to stop by, say hello and speak with the senator about any concern or issue they may have.
By working with local radio stations to broadcast “Joe Time” sessions, Sen. Griffo also has made it possible for those who cannot attend to tune in and listen to the senator’s discussions with his constituents and other guests.
This Wednesday, WIBX 950 First News with Keeler in the Morning will be joining the senator to broadcast their morning show live from the Marr-Logg House.
Date: Wednesday, Nov. 22 (tomorrow)
Time: 6 to 9 a.m.
Location: The Marr-Logg House – 1130 Culver Ave., Utica
Radio Broadcast: WIBX AM 950 First News with Keeler in the Morning
Note: Media outlets are invited to stop by to cover this forum or speak with Sen. Griffo if they would like.
“Coffee shops are a place for people to come in and chat about whatever is on their minds in a casual and relaxed setting,” Sen. Griffo said. “I have learned from previously hosting these events throughout my district that my constituents seem to appreciate an event like this because it offers them an informal opportunity to speak with me about any issues or concerns they may have. Everyone in the community is welcome to join me for some friendly conversation over coffee, and I look forward to hearing their opinions and answering whatever questions I can.”
