Addabbo Partners With NHSQ To Help Constituents Apply For Section 8 Housing

Senator Joseph P. Addabbo, Jr. will be hosting representatives from Neighborhood Housing Services of Queens to help constituents apply for Section 8 housing.

Help will be available on a one-on-one basis by appointment only. To make an appointment, call Senator Addabbo’s Office at 718-738-1111.

The event will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Senator Addabbo’s District Office, located at 84-16 Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven. 

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) will re-open the waitlist for its Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program from June 3rd – June 9th. 

“This is a small, but important, window of opportunity for those in need to apply for Section 8 housing,” Addabbo said. “That is why I am providing this important service so people can navigate this system which can be complicated at times.”
