About 75 percent to 80 percent of all out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen at home, so being trained to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can mean the difference between life and death for a loved one.
I have partnered with The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) to offer this free CPR and Fire Safety Training. In this course you will learn how to identify if an individual needs CPR and the steps to properly administer CPR. The fire safety training is a brief instructional on how to spot and prevent possible fire hazards. As well as, what steps to take in the event of a fire. Free smoke detectors will be available for homeowners.
