NY
On Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 1:00pm, New York State Senator Ruben Diaz and the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization will gather at the United Nations Dag Hammarskjold Park on East 47th Street and First Avenue in New York City to pray for peace in Honduras.
This prayer vigil is being organized by Honduran Pastors Sonia Fernandez and Hector Chiesa, member of the Board of Directors of Radio Vision Cristiana.
According to Senator Rev. Diaz, “The situation which our Honduran sisters and brothers are in is uncertain, and as such, we all need to join our voices in prayer for peace and dialogue to prevail and to avoid the shedding of blood.”
