HYDE PARK, NY – Senator Sue Serino announced today the launch of a Children and Teen Clothing Drive to benefit local children in need.
“With many families still grappling with financial challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to do all that we can to help ensure they have access to these necessities,” said Senator Sue Serino. “With spring cleaning season upon us, and our neighbors always looking for ways to give back, I encourage residents to consider participating in this unique donation drive.”
Individuals are encouraged to donate new or gently used clothing ranging in sizes fit for toddlers, young children, and teenagers.
Donations will be accepted from Monday, April 19, 2021 to Friday, April 30, 2021.
Those interested in donating items can do so by delivering them to Senator Serino’s Hyde Park Office (4254 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY 12538) Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All visitors are kindly asked to wear a facemask or covering when entering the building. Individuals who would prefer not to enter the building can call 845-229-0106 and a team member will meet them at their vehicle for a contactless pickup.
For those unable to deliver to the office, please call 845-229-0106 to arrange an alternate pickup.
For more information, please call Senator Serino’s Office at 845-229-0106 or email serino@nysenate.gov
