SERINO TO HOST ‘BACK-TO-SCHOOL’ DONATION DRIVE

HYDE PARK, NY - In an effort to help students and teachers prepare for the upcoming school year, Senator Sue Serino today announced that she will be assisting with the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region’s ‘Back-to-School Drive’ by serving as a collection site for community members to deliver their donations.

“I can’t thank the United Way enough for hosting their annual ‘back-to-school drive’ to help ensure students, parents, and teachers have the tools they need to succeed this school year,” said Senator Sue Serino. “As many families continue to grapple with financial and other challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to help relieve the burden of securing necessary school supplies for local neighbors in need. As community members begin their own back-to-school shopping, I hope they will consider purchasing an extra notebook, pack of pencils, or other items, and donating to this important community drive.”
