Where: Hyatt House Fishkill (100 Westage Business Ctr Dr, Fishkill, New York, United States, 12524)

With the American Red Cross facing an urgent need for blood donations due to a recent decline in donors, Senator Sue Serino is once again teaming up with the American Red Cross Hudson Valley Chapter to host a local blood drive on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Hyatt House in Fishkill, NY to give community members the opportunity to donate.

“With blood donations decreasing during the summer months, the need for donations has increased exponentially, said Senator Sue Serino. “The average blood donation can save up to three lives and could potentially help save a neighbor right here in our local community, so we want to do all that we can to make it as easy and convenient as possible for individuals to donate. We have seen great success with our past blood drives, and we hope that the generosity continues at this event”

Individuals can still donate blood if they have received a COVID-19 vaccination but must know the manufacturer they received it from. In most cases there is no deferral time.

Those interested in donating, must sign up in advance and can do so by clicking here. For a full list of upcoming Red Cross Blood Drives, click here.
