After going virtual last year, Senator Sue Serino’s highly anticipated ‘Annual Women’s Networking Event’ will be returning in-person to Locust Grove this July. Join Senator Sue Serino and a host of dynamic community leaders as they work to help local women bolster their own networks as they speak to the theme, ‘Rebuilding in the Wake of a Challenge.’ This year’s event will be held on Wednesday, July 21^st at 5:30 pm and will offer a virtual component as well for neighbors who cannot attend in-person.

 Event speakers include:

• Senator Serino’s 2021 Women of Distinction Nominee Sabrina Cruz, Owner of Ultimate Auto Detailing;
• Satara Brown, Founder of Rebuilding Our Children and Community, Inc.; and
• Kelly Formoso, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Hudson Valley Chapter.

“There’s no right or wrong path to success, but as the COVID-19 pandemic reminded us all, having an effective support system behind you can make all the difference,” said Senator Sue Serino. “We have all faced incredible challenges throughout the past year, and this year’s amazing speakers will focus on sharing how we can respond to—and rebuild—in their wake, while creating an opportunity to foster connections between women from across our community. There has always been a full house for this great event, and I hope our neighbors will continue to take advantage of this unique opportunity!” 

The Annual Women’s Networking Event is part of an ongoing series that Senator Sue Serino first launched in 2018. Since then, hundreds of women have attended both in-person and virtually to continue to build their own supportive and strong networks. This year’s event is being sponsored by the Women's Professional Network and the Women's Leadership Alliance.
