Free Veterans Appreciation Pasta Dinner

Senator Sue Serino will once again honor local veterans at a free appreciation pasta dinner on Sunday, October 15^th at the American Legion in Wingdale. Thanks to the support of the PFC Joseph P. Dwyer PTSD peer-to-peer veteran support program, the event is free and open to our local veterans and one guest. Nonperishable food items are being collected at each event to donate to the Castle Point Food Pantry.

“While words are rarely enough to truly thank our veterans—and their families—for the countless sacrifices that they make on our behalf, it’s important that we take every opportunity to show our gratitude and that’s what these annual events are all about,” said Senator Serino. “These events also provide a unique opportunity to bring our veterans and their families together to connect them with important resources that are available to them here locally. We are excited to be binging this event to Wingdale this year.”
