SCHROEDER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Labor AN ACT to amend the labor law, in relation to asbestos notification fees THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 904 of the labor law is amended by adding a new subdivision 5 to read as follows: 5. ANY CONTRACTOR WHO IS EMPLOYED BY THE CITY OF BUFFALO FOR THE DEMO- LITION OF A BUILDING THAT CONTAINS ASBESTOS, INCLUDING INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS, SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE ASBESTOS NOTIFICATION FEE ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SUBDIVISION TWO OF THIS SECTION.
