S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 10797 I N A S S E M B L Y June 20, 2012 ___________ Introduced by COMMITTEE ON RULES -- (at request of M. of A. Pretlow) -- read once and referred to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to repeal certain provisions of the civil practice law and rules, relating to the podiatric scope of practice THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Subparagraph (iv) of paragraph 1 of subdivision (d) of section 3101 of the civil practice law and rules, as added by a chapter of the laws of 2012, amending the education law, the public health law and civil practice law and rules relating to the podiatric scope of practice, as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 7800 and A. 9293-A, is REPEALED. S 2. This act shall take effect on the same date and in the same manner as a chapter of the laws of 2012, amending the education law, the public health law and the civil practice law and rules relating to podiatric scope of practice, as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 7800 and A. 9293-A, takes effect. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD16355-01-2
