AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to providing the  Yonkers
  city  school  district with additional supplemental education improve-
  ment plan funds

  THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

  Section  1. Paragraph b of subdivision 8 of section 3641 of the educa-
tion law, as amended by section 29 of part B of chapter 57 of  the  laws
of 2008, is amended to read as follows:
  b.  To  the Yonkers city school district there shall be paid seventeen
million five hundred thousand dollars ($17,500,000) on an  annual  basis
PLUS  AN  AMOUNT  EQUIVALENT TO THE PERCENTAGE INCREASE, CARRIED TO FOUR
DECIMALS, IN THE YONKERS CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT PUBLIC ENROLLMENT PURSUANT
TO FOUNDATION AID UNDER SUBDIVISION FOUR OF SECTION  THIRTY-SIX  HUNDRED
TWO  OF THIS ARTICLE FROM THE TWO THOUSAND NINE--TWO THOUSAND TEN SCHOOL
YEAR TO THE TWO THOUSAND TEN--TWO THOUSAND ELEVEN SCHOOL YEAR MULTIPLIED
BY THE DISTRICT'S FOUNDATION AID AMOUNT.  SUCH  INCREASE  SHALL  NOT  BE
SUBJECT  TO  SECTION  TWO  HUNDRED ELEVEN-D OF THIS CHAPTER.  Such grant
shall be payable from funds appropriated for such purpose and  shall  be
apportioned  to  the Yonkers city school district in accordance with the
payment schedules contained in section thirty-six hundred nine-a of this
article, notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary.
  S 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2012.
