GUNTHER -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Environmental Conservation AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to authorizing certain individuals to hunt with a muzzle loader THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 11-0701 of the environmental conservation law is amended by adding a new subdivision 18 to read as follows: 18. A JUNIOR MUZZLE-LOADING STAMP WHEN AFFIXED TO A JUNIOR SMALL GAME LICENSE ENTITLES A HOLDER WHO IS TWELVE YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO HUNT WILD DEER AND BEAR WITH A MUZZLE-LOADING FIREARM, AS PROVIDED IN TITLE 9 OF THIS ARTICLE, IN A SPECIAL MUZZLE-LOADING FIREARM SEASON. S 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next succeed- ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
