PEOPLES-STOKES, SCHIMMINGER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Children and Families AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to storing images and documents in the statewide automated child welfare information system THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 422 of the social services law is amended by adding a new subdivision 13-a to read as follows: 13-A. THE STATEWIDE AUTOMATED CHILD WELFARE INFORMATION SYSTEM SHALL BE CAPABLE OF STORING IMAGES AND DOCUMENTS. S 2. This act shall take effect January 1, 2017. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD01156-01-5
