SALADINO -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Mental Health AN ACT to amend the mental hygiene law, in relation to requiring the state to reimburse municipalities for loss of real property tax reven- ue resulting from establishment of community residential facilities THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 41.34 of the mental hygiene law is amended by adding a new subdivision (g) to read as follows: (G) UPON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL FACILITY FOR THE DISABLED BY A SPONSORING AGENCY, THE STATE COMPTROLLER SHALL REIMBURSE A MUNICIPALITY FOR LOSS OF REAL PROPERTY TAX REVENUE RESULTING FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SUCH FACILITY.
