M. L. MILLER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Mental Health AN ACT to amend the mental hygiene law, in relation to requiring the state to reimburse municipalities for loss of real property tax reven- ue resulting from establishment of community residential facilities THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 41.34 of the mental hygiene law is amended by adding a new subdivision (g) to read as follows: (G) UPON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL FACILITY FOR THE DISABLED BY A SPONSORING AGENCY, THE STATE COMPTROLLER SHALL REIMBURSE A MUNICIPALITY FOR LOSS OF REAL PROPERTY TAX REVENUE RESULTING FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SUCH FACILITY. § 2.
