JENNE, MOSLEY -- Multi-Sponsored by -- M. of A. THIELE -- read once and referred to the Committee on Education AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to aid to school districts educating Native American pupils THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Paragraph b of subdivision 2 of section 4115 of the educa- tion law is amended by adding a new subparagraph 3 to read as follows: (3) FOR ANY SCHOOL YEAR BEGINNING ON OR AFTER JULY FIRST, TWO THOUSAND EIGHTEEN, SUCH AMOUNTS SHALL BE PAID TO THE SCHOOL DISTRICT WITHIN ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY DAYS OF THE DATE THAT THE NUMBER OF INDIAN PUPILS EDUCATED BY THE DISTRICT IS DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT. § 2.
