S T A T E O F N E W Y O R K ________________________________________________________________________ 7565 2017-2018 Regular Sessions I N A S S E M B L Y May 2, 2017 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. WALTER -- read once and referred to the Committee on Transportation AN ACT authorizing the town of Pendleton, county of Niagara, to reduce the maximum speed limit along a certain portion of Mapleton Road in such town to 45 miles per hour THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Notwithstanding any general, special or local law or code to the contrary, the town board of the town of Pendleton, Niagara coun- ty, may by local law, ordinance, order, rule or regulation establish maximum speed limits at not less than forty-five miles per hour along Mapleton Road from the intersection with Campbell Boulevard through and including the intersection with Townline Road. ยง 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD06477-01-7
