 AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to agricultural
   trailers being covered under the towing vehicles liability insurance
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Subdivision (i) of section 345 of the vehicle and traffic
 law is amended by adding a new paragraph 4 to read as follows:
   (4) THE POLICY SHALL COVER ANY AGRICULTURAL  TRAILER,  AS  DEFINED  IN
 SCHEDULE  E  OF  SUBDIVISION  SEVEN  OF SECTION FOUR HUNDRED ONE OF THIS
 CHAPTER, BEING MOVED BY A MOTOR VEHICLE COVERED UNDER SUCH POLICY.
   § 2. This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day  after  it  shall
 have  become  a law; provided that the commissioner of motor vehicles is
 authorized to promulgate any rules and regulations necessary  to  imple-
 ment this act on or before its effective date.
