 AN ACT directing the New York  state  energy  research  and  development
   authority to establish a ride clean rebate program
 
   THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:

   Section 1. The New York state energy research and development authori-
 ty (NYSERDA) is hereby directed to establish a parallel program  to  the
 drive  clean  rebate  program  entitled the ride clean rebate program to
 permit class one, class two, and class three bicycles with  an  electric
 assist  to be eligible for a fifty percent rebate, with a maximum rebate
 amount of one thousand one hundred dollars ($1,100).
