DINOWITZ -- read once and referred to the Commit- tee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend the civil rights law, in relation to discrimination against vaccinated persons THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The civil rights law is amended by adding a new section 40-h to read as follows: § 40-H. DISCRIMINATION AGAINST VACCINATED PERSONS. A PERSON WHO EXCLUDES FROM THE EQUAL ENJOYMENT OF ANY ACCOMMODATION, FACILITY OR PRIVILEGE FURNISHED BY INNKEEPERS OR COMMON CARRIERS, AMUSEMENT OR RESORT, ANY PERSON BECAUSE THE PERSON RECEIVED A VACCINATION, IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR. § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [ ] is old law to be omitted. LBD01343-01-3
