 AN  ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to contracts for
   school food services
 
   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  103  of  the general municipal law is amended by
 adding a new subdivision 17 to read as follows:
   17. NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION,  IN  THE  CASE  OF
 CONTRACTS  FOR  GOODS,  SERVICES,  OR  MANAGEMENT  IN THE OPERATION OF A
 SCHOOL'S FOOD SERVICE, A BOARD OF EDUCATION, ON  BEHALF  OF  ITS  SCHOOL
 DISTRICT, OR A BOARD OF COOPERATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, SHALL HAVE THE
 AUTHORITY TO AWARD SUCH CONTRACTS ON THE BASIS OF CERTAIN SCORING CRITE-
 RIA  SPECIFICALLY  SET FORTH IN THE SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS DETERMINED BY
 THE PROCUREMENT OFFICE OR SCHOOL BOARD TO BE ESSENTIAL TO THE  PROVISION
 OF  A  SAFE  AND  NUTRITIOUS  FOOD  SERVICE PROGRAM WITH PRICE BEING THE
 PRIMARY FACTOR AND MOST  HEAVILY  WEIGHTED  BUT  NOT  THE  DETERMINATIVE
 FACTOR.
   § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

 AN ACT to amend the general municipal law, in relation to contracts  for
   school  food services; and providing for the repeal of such provisions
   upon expiration thereof

   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
 BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
 
   Section  1.  Section  103  of  the general municipal law is amended by
 adding a new subdivision 17 to read as follows:
