Electrocution of fur-bearing animals prohibited

§ 353-c. Electrocution of fur-bearing animals prohibited. 1.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person shall
intentionally kill, or stun to facilitate the killing of, a fur-bearing
animal by means of an electrical current. For the purpose of this
section, "fur-bearing animal" means arctic fox, red fox, silver fox,
chinchilla, mink, pine marten, muskrat, and those fur-bearing animals
included within the provisions of section 11-1907 of the environmental
conservation law.
2. A violation of subdivision one of this section is a class A
misdemeanor.
