Filing of transcript of judgment with city clerk; reducing bond

§ 1606. Filing of transcript of judgment with city clerk; reducing
bond. Upon the filing with the city clerk of a transcript of a judgment
on the bond of a marshal, the city clerk shall make a memorandum on the
bond of the time when and the court by which such judgment was rendered
and the amount thereof, and he shall be entitled to a fee of fifty cents
therefor, which the court rendering the judgment shall have power to
include therein; and the bond shall be reduced by the amount of the
judgment.
