Appeal to the court of appeals
New York City Civil Court Act (CCA) CHAPTER 693, ARTICLE 17
§ 1707. Appeal to the court of appeals. An appeal may be taken direct
to the court of appeals from a judgment or order which finally
determines an action or special proceeding where the only question
involved on the appeal is the validity of a statutory provision of the
state or of the United States under the constitution of the state or of
the United States. On any such appeal only the constitutional question
shall be considered and determined by the court.
